Lisa Jones

Lisa Stanford Jones serves as the Specialist, Project Management (Energy) at the Millennium Challenge Account–Belize (MCA-Belize), where she supports the management and delivery of the Energy Project. She brings professional experience spanning telecommunications, energy, and the United Nations, with expertise in strategic planning, project management, stakeholder relations, marketing, and service delivery.

Prior to joining MCA-Belize, Ms. Jones held leadership roles in Belize’s telecommunications and energy sectors. At Belize Telemedia Limited, she led the commercial launch of LTE and 4G services and managed key customer initiatives, including the migration of prepaid customers to a new billing platform. She later held leadership roles in Customer Service and Marketing and Sales at Belize Electricity Limited (BEL), where her work included energy solutions, electric mobility, service transformation, and the development and promotion of new products and services.

Ms. Jones also brings experience in international development through her work with the United Nations, where she worked with government, UN agencies, and development partners on national and regional development priorities. She led the delivery of the 2026 Annual Coordination Meeting and supported the development of the Multi Country Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2027–2031, while coordinating engagement with key development partners and stakeholders.

At MCA-Belize, Ms. Jones supports project planning, budget monitoring, implementation tracking, schedule and deliverable management, coordination across technical workstreams, and stakeholder engagement. She also supports the identification and management of project risks, dependencies, and priorities, helping to keep activities, resources, timelines, and project objectives aligned.

Ms. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and has completed specialized professional training in telecommunications management, leadership, product cost modelling, and forecasting. She brings a practical, people-focused approach to her work and is committed to creating structure around complex projects, fostering collaboration, and translating plans into action. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys travelling, spending time with family, and embracing new experiences. She values continuous learning, appreciates a good challenge, and views new experiences as opportunities for growth and development.
